Hello guys,
For those of you who visited my blog before, you will see that my previous posts are gone 
I had issues with the blogging software and after much frustration, I decided to heck with trying to get it back, I’m starting over.
Tonight is a very exciting night not just for me, but for the United States and possibly the world. For those of you that know me, and especially those that have taken my classes, you know that I have said since the beginning of this election race that Obama was going to win. I was told first by an Earthbound slave spirit that I was helping to cross over into the light, and since then I have been repeatedly told by my guides (which include Martin Luther King Jr.) that he is going to win. So it is a very exciting night for me in that respect, but it’s also a wonderful moment in history. The first African American president, what a wonderful thing to be alive for, and what a wonderful thing for our children to witness! I didn’t vote for Obama because he was black, I voted for Obama because we need change, and because he is truly a wonderful spirit. I have also been told by spirit that Obama is Abraham Lincoln reincarnated, which would make alot of sense! So, lots of excitement tonight, and no matter who you voted for, there will definitely be change, which is what this country needs! Those of you that are on your spiritual path know that change is a good thing, change is sometimes the required kick in the butt or catalyst for new and exciting things to happen. Many of us get sort of stagnant in our life, and while we recognize we should or could change, we often get comfortable, too comfortable, and many times that means we miss out on wonderful opportunities. Sometimes change is painful, but when I look back at my life so far, I see that each and every time of big change in my life led to good things…. and without the change, the new opportunities would not have come into my life. Take for example me being fired for the first time in my life… it was hard at first, but it gave me the chance to stay home with my kids, and then to start getting into my art, and eventually get me started (or re-started I should say) on my spiritual path. I don’t really listen to country, but Garth Brooks’ song “Unanswered Prayers” has always hit home for me. I am thankful for the many times that my prayers went seemingly unanswered, as if they had been answered, my life would be so much different… and I love the life that I have now. I look back and say “Thank you God for not answering my request to stay with that silly boyfriend, because life would have sucked!” LOL.
So the message for today is to embrace change and even welcome change into your life. Change is good, just as death is not death but rebirth in the spiritual world. So the next time change comes and smacks you upside the head, look and see what the positives are in the situation… you may not see them now but I bet you will see them later… so be patient, be gentle with yourself and all those involved, and know that things are just as they should be.
